Grammy Awards 2021: Τραγούδι της χρονιάς το «I Can't Breathe»

Με επιτυχία ολοκληρώθηκαν τα 63α βραβεία Grammy, με την Αμερικανίδα R&B καλλιτέχνη H.E.R να κερδίζει το βραβείο Grammy για Τραγούδι της Χρονιάς με το «I Can't Breathe», έναν ύμνο που καλεί στον τερματισμό των φυλετικών διακρίσεων και της αστυνομικής βαρβαρότητας στον απόηχο των διαδηλώσεων που πυροδότησε η δολοφονία του Τζορτζ Φλόιντ την περασμένη άνοιξη.

Το «I Can't Breathe» αναφέρεται στα τελευταία λόγια που εκστόμισε ο Έρικ Γκάρνερ, ο μαύρος Αμερικανός, πριν πεθάνει από ασφυξία κατά τη σύλληψή του από την αστυνομία στην Νέα Υόρκη τον Ιούλιο του 2014.

Στα βραβεία Grammy που απονεμήθηκαν το βράδυ χθες Κυριακή στο Λος Άντζελες, η Μπιγιόνσε έγραψε ιστορία παραλαμβάνοντας το 28ο βραβείο στην καριέρα της ενώ η Τέιλορ Σουίφτ βραβεύτηκε για το Άλμπουμ της Χρονιάς. Η ράπερ Megan Thee Stallion βραβεύτηκε επίσης ως καλύτερη νέα καλλιτέχνιδα.
